A chance to see the iconic Blue Boat Shed as we cycle from South Perth to Matilda Bay before venturing through the incredible Kings Park. Along the way learn a little about Perth's unique plants, animals and history of the area.
We start our tour on the South Perth foreshore heading towards the narrows bridge were your guide shows you the oldest surviving colonial structures, one of Perth's first swimming areas, the famous Blue Boat House and the incredible Matilda Bay parkland situated next to the University of WA.
Learn a little about the first Australian who lived in the area and the first explorers from European nations that settled the Swan River Colony.
We continue and explore Kings Park as we traverse this incredible parkland. We will take you to bushland that few visitors see as we ride along the tree lined avenues dedicated to our fallen soldiers. Arriving at the main precinct area over looking Perth we stop for a well earned break and explore on foot this part of the park. We have a cafe break and allow you plenty of time to take incredible photos. Your guide will relay how the park evolved, show you all the best places to visit including the botanic gardens and boab tree.
At different times of the year Kings Park shows us a range of flowering plants and wildflowers many unique to Western Australia.
Back on our bikes we head back via a network of scenic paths through the beautiful John Oldham Park to finish our day at the South Perth Foreshore and our start point.

We meet at a cycle store in South Perth as it is warm in winter and cool in summer while we get organised. Our bikes are kept close by.
